Newlands is a purpose-built Barchester care home located in the centre of Workington, providing 24-hour nursing care and dementia care for elderly people and people with mental health needs. The highly skilled team at the home work hard to provide diverse and person-centred care and there are multiple teams within the community that lend a hand too, including the Parkinson’s Society, Alzheimer’s Society and local schools. All bedrooms at the home have ensuite facilities and are beautifully decorated and there is a large landscaped garden which residents enjoy relaxing in. The home also has the benefit of being within easy reach of the Lake District and the scenic Solway Coast in Cumbria.
